So here some of the E-MTB trails in Liguria that we thought for you:
Nato Base – Calice Ligure – Finalborgo
DEPARTURE BY RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS SHUTTLE BUS - NATO BASE DEPARTURE - H - PARTIGIANO - NATO BASE - PARTIGIANO - MADRE NATURA – PARTIGIANO - 115.
1st VARIANT: 115 RETURN TO CARBUTA - PIAN MARINO - PERTI ALTO - FINALBORGO - RETURN TO PIETRA LIGURE TO THE RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS.
2nd VARIANT: PARTIGIANO – CRESTINO – CRAVAREZZA – INGEGNERE – ORCO FEGLINO – FINALBORGO – RETURN TO PIETRA LIGURE TO THE RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS.
We reach the famous Nato Base with our shuttle bus from our Residence. We start from the first trail called "Base Nato" with fast ski jumps. Back at the Nato Base we take the "Partigiano" trail. Once at the top, it continues uphill the "Madre Natura", which is covered quickly and confidently. Then we reach the Nato Base again via the "Partigiano" trail, from here we take "115" and "H"! Incredibly fast and exciting trails.
After the last descent from the Nato Base we reach the fascinating town Finalborgo.
Variant 1: After completing the H trail, we turn into the lower part of the 115 trail. We follow the narrow path up to the Church of Carbuta from where we take the Pian Marino trail that takes us to Perti Alto. Then we drive downhill on a track that passes below the Castel Gavone, the fortress of San Giovanni, and takes us to the destination of the medieval center of Finalborgo.
Variant 2: The last descent from the Nato Base is via the Cravarezza trail, at the end we turn into the Ingegnere trail and via the "Orco Feglino" trail we descend to the center of Finalborgo.
Nato Base - Orco Feglino - Finalborgo
DEPARTURE BY SHUTTLE BUS FROM RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS – CRESTINO – CRAVAREZZA – INGEGNERE – FEGLINO – ORCO - ROCCHE BANCHE – SUPERGROPPO – ORCO FEGLINO – FINALBORGO – RETURN TO PIETRA LIGURE TO RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS.
The shuttle bus takes us from the Residence Holidays to the famous Nato Base.
Then we start the ascent on the Crestino trail, which leads us to the legendary Ingegnere trail, that leaves nothing to be desired.
But that's not all, thanks to the e-bikes we can easily climb the rude road that will take us to the Orco region to the famous Rocche Bianche. From here we descend the "Supergroppo" trail leading us via Calice Ligure down to the medieval center of Finalborgo.
Monte Carmo - Pietra Ligure
DEPARTURE WITHOUT SHUTTLE AND EXTREME CLIMBS TO GIOVO DI GIUSTENICE - HIROSHIMA MON AMOUR.
1st VARIANT: FEDELI ALLA LINEA – TITALANA – PIAN DELLE BOSSE – OLTRE FINALE – RANZILANDIA - HISTORICAL CENTER OF PIETRA LIGURE.
2nd VARIANT: HELL BOY I - HELL BOY II - XC TRAIL - TOVO SAN GIACOMO - RETURN TO PIETRA LIGURE TO RESIDENCE HOLIDAYS.
3rd VARIANT: ROUTE BELLA – ROCK’N ROLLA – DOG EAT DOG – GIUSTENICE – RETURN TO PIETRA LIGURE TO THE RESIDENCE.
With e-mountain bikes, independent of shuttles, we can face and enjoy routes with steep climbs which would be impossible without support. This is the idea of an extreme tour.
We start at sea level and reach about 1000 meters above sea level and then we plunge back down to the sea, non-stop if you want and if you are crazy enough.
From Pietra Ligure we drive steeply up to the village of Ranzi and down again to Foresto or Ponte Ranzi-Castagnabanca where we reach 1/3 of the ascent.
From here there are two possible routes: the “Ponte” trail and then “Route Bella”, “Cascina Porro Climb” followed by the white road “strada bianca” Colle di Giustenice that leads to the top of Giovo di Giustenice, or we drive the Strada delle Gattelle. Both variants lead us to the Monte Carmo pass.
From here our way leads back down to the sea. Two trails start here: Hiroshima Mon Amour.
Now we have three alternatives:
First variant: At the end of the first part of “Hiroshima Mon Amour” we change the direction and ride the “Fedeli alla Linea” trail. We drive all the way to the beginning of "Titalana", a nice fast trail full of climbs, then we follow the last part of "Oltre Finale" and then "Ranzilandia" with its trails "Blupervinga", "Scoglio di Verso", "Gabry “ trail or “Armuin” and then downhill through the curves of the village of Ranzi until we reach the center of Pietra Ligure again.
Second variant: The Hiroshima trail is ridden in full length until we reach the "Hell Boy I" trail above the Casina Porro farm and immediately start the "Hell Boy II". Both are fast trails with changes of direction and small compressions. The end of the two trails lead first to "Partigiani Xc" and then to "XC Giustenice". From here you go either to Giustenice or to Tovo S. Giacomo. But in the end we always reach Pietra Ligure.
Third variant: The "Hiroshima" Trail is driven in full length. At Casina Porro we can take a break and start refreshed the "Route Bella" trail, which will take us to a junction where two technical and exciting trails start: "Rock 'n Rolla" and "Alleluia".
Both lead us to the Strada delle Gattelle, where the “Dog Eat Dog” trail begins. A fantastic trail full of fun, that leads us back home to Pietra Ligure via Giustenice, with a satisfied smile on our faces.
